IDD 1st Audio Podcast:
I just want to say that this took me forever to figure out, but I think I finally got it. The program which I used was Garage Band 08 on my Mac Book Pro computer. The internet offered some simple video tutorials on how to accomplish podcasting, so that was a big help. Garage band offers some sweet technologies for podcasting making it much like video editing. I was able to create a podcast and add pictures and music to it. The professional quality is a built in digital sound and video product that comes with Garage Band making your podcast ideally professional. Garage Band has been around for a few years but this particular podcasting method came out with Garage Band 08 so it is pretty new. One downfall to Garageband is its compatibility, it seems like Apple is only compatible with Apple. So anyone with i tunes can download the podcasts created from Garage Band 08. Overall I found this a frustrating but interesting process which will be useful for my future projects.
Technology and Training, and E learning 2.0
The technology of Training chapter discussed the need of new training methods based on evolving archetypes of technology training methods due to the inadequacies and losses in revenue build for technology based companies. The Ideals presented covered: Ineffective training and the direct and indirect losses of revenue, training methods that are clear effective and evolutionary, the tools available for the technology training, and a model archetype for the training methods. Indeed it is a concern that the technology workforce as it is today is getting older and less experienced as new technologies are breaking forth. Soon these workers will be retired and their knowledge will be veiled leaving a new generation of workers with little training. It is also a concern that the typical training methods of todays societies such as class room settings and instructional methods like read and test could be ineffective popular trends of teaching methodology. Who has stood up against the general methods of instruction since roman times... no one! I thought the idea of evolutionary training methods quite proper since technology is continuously evolving as well. However I do not know for sure weather the archetype instructional method displayed in this chapter would constitute the Ideal evolutionary training; that I think could only be found through trial and error. Thus propels the idea of an evolutionary process of training. The Learning 2.0 Chapter discussed the newest types of tools that have helped the evolution of learning reach the point that it is at today. No longer are the Ideals and philosophies of the past distributed to 30 or 4o students in a class room but through the media tools of the internet, network based teaching has entered limitless bounds. Through blogging, podcasting, widgi webbing, skype and other media net based tools, people can share information to millions in seconds. The technological advances of todays society propel us beyond the 1 point systematic methodology of training and teaching. The tools of webcasting and social networking along with virtual worlds of learning catastrophically excel the information and training accessible in todays world. That is learning 2.0!

Hi, My name is Brian Lorenzo Morgan. I am 24 years old and am a IBM major at BYU Hawaii.
My goals for the future include getting a masters degree in film, traveling the world, raising a family in the Church, bringing the Gospel to the world through movie productions and the media. In the past 6 years I have traveled to 5 different countries and lived in 6 different states. I love to travel. I have played college baseball for a JC in California, and a University in Virginia. What I learned from my travels and playing sports is humility, gratitude, leadership, teamwork, and dedication. I also served a two year mission in Colorado, where I learned to love and serve all different types of people. My love for the gospel of Jesus Christ grew tremendously and is still growing. My current interests are spear fishing film making and entrepreneurship. I want to learn how to make web pages from this class to help establish online businesses. Thats me right now.
Brian.
